Frequently Asked Questions

  • When do I need to RSVP by?

    RSVPs are due by Friday, September 6, 2019. You may RSVP online at covenanthouseny.org/RSVP or by email to rsvp@covenanthouse.org. If you prefer to RSVP by phone, please call Jessica Zelenak at 212-727-4007.

  • What if the event is canceled or postponed?

    The event is scheduled for rain or shine! If there is an occurrence that should cause a postponement, a Covenant House staff member will be in touch with you.

  • Do I need a ticket to enter?

    No, once you RSVP, your name will be added to the registration list for the event and you will be able to share your name (or the name of your party) at check-in.

  • Is there an age limit or are there ID requirements to enter the event? May children attend the event?

    There is no age limit for this event and no ID requirement for entry. However, Covenant House has a strict zero-tolerance policy – alcohol will not and may not be served to minors.

  • What time do the doors open?

    Doors will open at 5:30 PM at CNVS.

  • Is there a recommended hotel in the area if I choose to stay in town for the night?

    There are several hotels in the area. A few options to consider are:

  • Will food be served at the reception?

    Yes, light passed hors d’oeuvres will be served during the reception.

  • Will coat and bag check be available?

    Complimentary coat and bag check will be available for guests at the reception.

  • What attire is appropriate for this celebration?

    We encourage guests to dress in business formal to cocktail attire.

  • Where should I park and is there a fee for parking?

    Parking is available at CNVS for $45 per car. There is a limited number of spaces available and the spaces are available first come, first serve.

  • Will there be seating?

    CNVS is ADA compliant. While it will not be a seated event, there will be seating available for guests who need it. If you are having trouble finding seating, please let a Covenant House staff person know so we may assist you.
